Synopsis
In the turbulent year of 1928, in the sweltering town of Ciénaga, Colombia, Norma Landinez embarks on a journey shrouded in shadows and omens. Her destination is the estate of her injured husband, a prosperous landowner in the service of the mighty United Fruit Company, at the heart of the Great Banana Strike. As the echoes of the protest reverberate through the thick, humid air, a series of supernatural events begin to intertwine with reality, plunging Norma into a whirlwind of madness.
